Many/most of my summer improvisations, some are being reworked into compositions. They document the growing pains of my Max/MSP performance patch. Only a handful have any post-production, so volume levels are all over the place, be wary of sudden, loud feedback, etc. if you're actually listening thru to these. Some of these are improvisations in the sense that I'm sitting down to play, others are tests in the sense that I'm sitting down to work on the software and things started happening that warranted recording amongst the dead air of patch tweaks; some start as one and become the other, etc.

My samples include: cassette tapes, flacs from soulseek, macbook sonorities, feedback, the people sitting next to me
My effects include: many different pitch shifting modalities, time stretch, fft stuff, delay, reverb, loudness modulation
My controllers include: mpk mini, beatstep, computer screen, computer generated sequences, MrMatrix draggable audio matrix max patch
My inspirations include: macbook sonorities, early morning after nightlife, repetition as ritual or as habit or bad habit, bells alarms ringtones charge sounds boot sounds aka the tics of technology
